Isaac De La PenaIsaac De La Penã, the Head of Internet Strategic Initiatives at Nokia, is an expert in innovation management, corporate ventures and mobile strategy. Originally from Spain, he has an international experience heading multicultural teams on complex projects. His multidisciplinary profile ensures adaptability and top performance in a fast changing business environment. As the head of internet strategic initiatives for Nokia, he is responsible for the strategic transformation of Nokia into an Internet-savvy company, developing the projects, capabilities and resources necessary for the company to compete in a converged mobile 2.0 market. Isaac is also a visiting Scientist at the MIT Media Labs, participating in joint research programs with MIT faculty and students, fostering the creation of an environment that harnesses the power of open innovation at Nokia. He owns two bachelor’s degrees in economics and philosophy and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of management. He also had strategy training classes at Harvard University with Prof. Clayton Christensen.
